This 18 Bedroom Hostel Design has 3 stories and a simple roof. The functional layout for the ground floor and second floor is similar. These rooms consist of a bathroom, bedroom, and small kitchen counter. Each room can allow for 1 – 4 people. The kitchen space can change to a study area or extra storage space. The first floor has 2 rooms, a cafeteria, an office, and laundry. The laundry layout is in such a way that more than 8 people can use it at the same time. The cafeteria is on the first floor to ease the movement of the users. The kitchen on the first floor comes with a scullery and pantry. Reinforced concrete and burnt bricks are the two materials for this simple hostel design. Lastly, the roof structure has a simple gable roof made from timber that is easy to build.

The plan is scalable and can be extended or reduced in length. These changes allow the changing of the number of rooms without having any effect on the structure.
